Campaign Re-cap #1

On the morning of Moldain, Thaumont 11th, AC 1003, four young Karameikans stand on a pier outside of Kelvin. Among them are: Augustus Valerius, son of a retired Thyatian Forester, trying to follow in his father's footsteps; Halav Primakov, a rusty greatsword wielding cleric of the little known Immortal, Sankta Misha; Pavel Ivan Kravanova (aka "PIK"), a Darine circus acrobat; and Balthazar Octavion, a Thyatian wizard and son of a prominent jewel merchant.

The group has been hired by Stefan Sukiskyn to help him transport horses from his family's homestead in the northern Dymrak to the Callarii elves at Rifllian. They are to travel by boat with a man named Kalanos up the Volaga River where they will meet Stefan. The party is barely on their way when they are ambushed by brigands from the Iron Ring.

After defeating their attackers, the party makes it to Mischa's crossing where they will spend the night before continuing by land to Sukiskyn. Mischa is nowhere to be found but Kalanos assures them all is well as she often hunts with her bear companion. While the party is sleeping, the bear tries to get into the cabin but Mischa never arrives. The next morning the party discovers that she has been murdered (apparently by the same people who attacked them).
